Basic tips for potty training

Many parents can relate when it comes to potty training problems. It can be about the formation of a boy or a girl, but no matter what, they are all potty training problems. Chances are, they are quite common.

They can do and put strains on the family. There is pressure from others outside the immediate family, friends, schools and others to get a pot-trained child. There are many rules outside the home demand a child be trained by age XX pot. It makes more of a challenge when a child is diagnosed with developmental delays or disorders.

You can get all the advice in the world and if you are able to fix your attention on them and I think they will work, the more likely they will be useless. If you are in a situation in which potty training has become a family strain, stop for a while. Tension and frustration continue eventually become serious. Take the time to focus on other things for a while for everyone to recover. Children can become a reflection of ourselves and they are great "magnets" of what we do and say. So if you are upset and angry your child begins to act to complicate the situation even more.

As a mom who has been there and done that, it is better to stop trying to potty training and focus on things that can be done immediately. When you feel like you're in a place you can focus on training and your child shows some cooperation to try again.

Here are some tips for potty training all parents can try before, during and after the process:

-Set goals for each day. Take one day at a time.

Hug-your child every day. Let them know that you love them.

-Praise your child for each project, they

Find things that your child likes to do that you can implement in the process of

-Choose a positive word for the day for you and your child to talk

-Journal you can release all the challenges or frustrations that you are experiencing.

-Reassure your child, even when they make mistakes it is correct and try again

-Whenever you feel frustrated by something (even if it is not potty training) "change the channel" and focus on something that feels good.

Although this is a mile stone and great learning process for your child, potty training does not need to be a serious all the time time. Make the experience fun and memorable experience can leave a lasting and positive with your child. This can also be a wonderful opportunity to build relationships with them as they near the time kindergarten.

  1. There are some stressful or difficult times when you may want to put off starting the toilet-teaching process. So look for the signs that your child may be ready to start heading for the potty.
