1. Wait until they are ready. All children develop at different rates. If your older child potty trained by two, that does not mean your second child. If your child is potty trained neighbor, this does not mean yours should be. Your child needs to be ready, or it will be a long battle, and frustrating struggle. So, wait until your child shows signs of preparation, such as going long periods of time without getting dirty diapers. Recognizing the need for pot, or even just a fascination with the toilet.

2. Do not fight with them. If you fight about it, stop and try again in a week or two. When potty training becomes a fight, it's time to quit. If it is a power struggle, your child will win. Your child learns about themselves and become an individual, and often their individuality is expressed through resistance. Do not let this be the potty training.

3. Help them understand what is happening. Books, films, etc. often help. It is a learning process, so many accessories and help you get the best. If your child has a clear understanding of what the pot is when they use and how they use it, it will not be nearly as intimidating and potty training will be much easier.

4. Be consistent. You can do "midi naked", where every day for a couple of hours, they wear only their underwear and use the potty. If you find that you can not stay consistent every day, consider a weekend potty training, where you spend the whole weekend to potty training tips.

5. Remind them every two hours. Your child will ignore their body signals to play, eat or sleep. So help them out by giving them a call, and taking them to the bathroom every two hours to use the restroom. This will help them recognize the signs and get used to going into the bathroom.
